2021: An Year of the New Normal
A very eventful and successful year is drawing to a close. In this blog, we reflect, reminisce and analyse the big and small remarkable moments at DiConneX.
An innovative start
Back in January, we went full throttle and revamped our brand identity. Our new brand language is aligned with the company values. With its modern and innovative design, we appeal exactly to our target group. In April, we relaunched our website in the new brand language and corporate design. In addition to the German website, we created a lucid English website, to share our knowledge and expertise on the topics of digitalization and digital twin with a wider audience across the globe.
Growth at DiConneX
Our headcount has also grown rapidly this year in the Marketing, BIM, Strategy, IT Development and IT Security departments. Our team is multicultural, which we are very proud of, because we always get new and interesting insights of other cultures.
To meet the requirements of contact restriction during the pandemic period, we created an office plan that allowed us to work in small groups, safely in the office. And then in the summer, it felt almost normal as we enjoyed our summer party with the whole team. With canoes, pedal boats and sup-boards we made a great tour on the Alster. The subsequent dinner at the Stüffel restaurant then really rounded off the day.
DiConneX Summit
In September, we held our first DiConneX Summit. With the Summit, we wanted to create an event where everyone interested in the topic of digital twins could network, connect and explore the possibilities in digitalization together. There were plenty of insights thanks to exciting and interesting presentations from our partners and customers.
We are already looking forward to the 2nd DiConneX Summit in 2022!
With midsummer weather and the best atmosphere, we ended this day with the 5th anniversary party at the Theater im Zimmer in Hamburg. Of course with band and BBQ!
Here is a brief glimpse into the 5 years of DiConneX.
In 2021, our team has been hard at work refining our solutions, resulting in our most innovative solution yet: the DiConneX Digital Twin platform.
What makes our solution different?
The Digital Twin Platform sustainably optimizes processes by consolidating data of any kind across departments via it and making it available to all stakeholders, regardless of time or location.
We presented the advantages of our platform during the KIWI Hackathon at Real PropTech 2021 in Frankfurt. Among other things, we demonstrated how the platform can be used for planning, managing and performing maintenance work in office buildings. We also networked our platform with KIWI’s digital locking system in less than two days. A great achievement by our colleagues from the software development and marketing team, which convinced the jury and secured us the first place in both the categories: Technology and Business Case. We are grateful for this great experience, and delighted that our Digital Twin platform is already going places.
In 2022, we intend to continue developing innovative solutions for infrastructure digitalization and release upgraded versions of the Digital Twin Platform. You can read and download new content in the Blog and Downloads section under Knowledge at diconnex.com.
